Job summary

Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Northlake is seeking a room attendant to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort. The role involves following a daily schedule, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and delivering friendly service to guests.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail and prior hotel housekeeping or customer service experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with the ability to work standing for extended periods and to lift supplies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load carts with all necessary supplies.
• Turns off all electricity (heating or cooling set to fan or cool setting).
• Strips beds in checked-out rooms and drops dirty linens to the laundry; handle new rooms promptly.
• Cleans the cart and labels bottles; pace work to meet time constraints for rooms.
• Make beds properly.
• Vacuum and sweep carpets and floors.
• Mop floors.
• Dust, brush, polish, and vacuum furniture.
• Dust and clean room decorations, appliances, and surfaces.
• Clean showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items; remove used amenities.
• Inspect rooms for safety hazards and equipment condition.
• Report issues to a supervisor and handle special requests from guests.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and stock carts.
• Record room status on work assignment sheets.
• Other duties as assigned.
