Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming experience for guests. You will assist with hallway cleanliness, stock carts, and respond promptly to guest requests.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, read, write and speak basic English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work as a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens.
• Clean multiple guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming.
• Replenishes supplies; cleans corridors and stairways.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture; washes walls, windows, and door panels.
• Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays; transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies and replaces light bulbs.
• Completes a quality check on in-room equipment and safety devices.
• Greet guests and acknowledge them warmly.
• Maintain a clean and organized supply room.
