Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant for our Seattle property to maintain clean, attractive guestrooms and deliver attentive, courteous service to guests.

You will be responsible for restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction while following safety standards. Prior hotel experience is preferred, with a competitive hourly wage and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand during the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff and guests.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties, including supplies and linen for housekeeping cart.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways and public areas clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cart for next day.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
