Job summary

Ivy Hospitality in Dayton, OH is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas. You will ensure a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for all guests, help with spill cleanups, and support other housekeeping staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and bathrooms according to established standards.
• Clean and reset guest bedrooms and common areas as assigned.
• Assist other housekeeping associates to maintain clean and organized areas.
• Participate in carpet care program by spotting carpet during room cleaning.
• Report maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
• Stock housekeeping carts and linen storage areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Follow procedures for entering guest rooms to protect privacy and security.
