Job summary

The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI is hiring room attendants to provide stayover and checkout services for in-house guests, ensuring rooms meet high cleanliness standards and AAA Four Diamond expectations.

The role offers full-time and part-time schedules with some weekend availability. You will work both independently and as part of a team, maintain pace to keep rooms ready for guests, and contribute to a warm, memorable guest experience at our lakeside resort.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred.
• Must have some weekend and holiday availability.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team.
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours each day—also be able to use stairs, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Must possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide stayover service based on guest type selected.
• Perform checkout cleaning per the Housekeeping Training Manual, preparing the room for the next guest.
• Note any broken or missing items in the unit.
• Document items not cleanable with available products.
• Secure lost and found items left by guests.
• Maintain cleaning speed to meet expectations.
• Report equipment or appliances not working.
• Tidy cart and closet at end of shift.
• Return all items to their proper places.
• Model The Osthoff Resort’s service principle by addressing guest inquiries politely and promptly, and inform a team leader of issues.
• Assist coworkers as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
