Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Requires good verbal and written communication.
• Requires excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to move luggage, packages or furniture weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and return vacant rooms to a vacant ready status; move from occupied dirty to occupied clean.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
• Tidy guest rooms as required.
• Change blankets, bedspreads, and mattress pads every 60 days or to brand standard.
• Complete assigned daily room projects (thresholds, patios, etc.).
• Assist in carpet care by spot cleaning when cleaning rooms.
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart.
• Report material discrepancies to Engineering via Front Desk log or work order.
• Assist in maintaining other hotel areas in a clean condition.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly.
• Maintain high standards per the Self-Inspection.
