Job summary

Hotel Celare, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property by Shaner Hotels, in Cincinnati is seeking a detail-oriented room attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will clean and service guest rooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance or guest requests to maintain high standards of comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of cleaning experience,; good communication, basic chemical handling knowledge, and is bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
