Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Marriott Phoenix Chandler hotel is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to keep guest rooms spotless and welcoming. You will clean, dust, vacuum, make beds, replenish amenities, and report issues promptly, delivering Five‑Star service as part of a professional housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and works well in a team while maintaining Marriott Phoenix Chandler standards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of housekeeping experience; hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to follow Marriott Phoenix Chandler standards and Five-Star Service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and vacuum guest rooms, including dusting, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, replenishing room supplies and amenities, emptying trash, and ensuring rooms are maintained according to established quality and cleanliness standards.
• Collect and transport soiled linens and towels to designated areas for laundering.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and needs while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Inspect guest rooms for deficiencies, damage, or items requiring maintenance and promptly report them to the Housekeeping Office.
• Contact the Housekeeping Office to report maintenance issues such as burned-out light bulbs, broken fixtures, damaged furniture, or other room deficiencies.
• Accurately update the daily assignment sheet with rooms completed and document any missing items, including robes.
• Report missing guest room items and amenities to the Housekeeping Office.
• Report and properly turn in all items left behind by guests in accordance with hotel Lost and Found procedures.
• Use all cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Keep Housekeeping closets and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shift.
• Communicate regularly with the Housekeeping Supervisor regarding room status, special requests, rooms requiring additional attention, and any other concerns.
• Follow all hotel, departmental, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing the Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel.
• Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
