Job summary

Indigo Raleigh Hotel in Raleigh, NC is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to clean guest rooms to established standards and maximize guest satisfaction. You will replenish supplies, maintain cart organization, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.

Knowledge of cleaning principles and ability to follow instructions is essential. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods, with a friendly, professional demeanor as part of our hotel team.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles and cleaning products.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies and maintains it.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms and public areas.
• Replaces towels, soaps and room amenities and restocks literature as needed.
• Vacuum floors and maintain cleanliness of carpets, furniture and fixtures.
• Inspects room equipment and locks and report maintenance needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
