Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb stairs.
• Strong attention to detail and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the high standards specified by the Head Housekeeper or manager.
• Speak to guests with courtesy and a friendly smile.
• Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure everything is in perfect working order for guests.
• Mark each cleaned room on housekeeping sheet and notify front desk when room is ready.
• Complete missing linen reports for every room and promptly turn in lost and found items.
• Maintain neat, locked storage closets and restock housekeeping cart, empty trash, and clear vacuums at end of shift.
• Arrive on time in uniform with name tag and obtain work schedule promptly.
• Maintain strict control of room keys and keep them secure.
