Summary of Position
Ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for guests’ arrivals. Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and respond promptly and courteously to all guest requests.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of facility experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
General Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all Housekeeping procedures.
- Follow safety procedures and chemical safety guidelines.
- Maintain a guest-focused attitude to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Clean guest rooms with attention to detail and care.
Specific Responsibilities
- Demonstrate integrity, take ownership of actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, and adhere to company procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet guests with a smile.
- Practice safety standards at all times to ensure safety for guests and staff.
- Understand hotel safety procedures, including proper lifting, ladder safety, first aid, eye protection, and chemical safety.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms according to standards.
- Inspect linen for stains and condition before use.
- Inspect rooms for quality and cleanliness after cleaning.
- Clean and sanitize public areas as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Report illegal activities to management.
- Report lost and found items to your supervisor.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as instructed.
- Ensure guest rooms are safe and secure by verifying door locks.
- Understand and perform duties of House Person and Laundry Attendants.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
