Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant for the Holiday Inn San Jose Silicon Valley. You will ensure guest rooms meet Crescent’s cleanliness standards while creating a welcoming home-away-from-home experience for guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, dusting, replenishing supplies, changing linens, and restocking carts. The role requires physical stamina and reliable attendance; benefits include competitive wages and discounts across Crescent properties.

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
• You may need to rotate duties and work with a team to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness standards.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Room Attendantat the Holiday Inn San Jose Silicon Valley, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel room is prepared in accordance to Crescent’s cleanliness standards while also creating a home away from home experience for our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
