Holiday Inn San Jose Silicon Valley by Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms meet our cleanliness standards and feel like a welcoming home away from home.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, manage linens and amenities, and maintain a high standard of guest service with a positive, can-do attitude that reflects our commitment to guest satisfaction and safety. Join a team that values teamwork and hospitality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Follow cleaning procedures and use of cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds and change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, ledges and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities and linens in guest rooms.
• Handle room keys and restock mobile carts as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Room Attendant at the Holiday Inn San Jose Silicon Valley, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel room is prepared in accordance to Crescent’s cleanliness standards while also creating a home away from home experience for our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
