Job summary

MHG Hotels is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards. You will restock supplies, organize carts, and greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude during each shift.

We value a professional demeanor, clear communication, and the ability to stand for long periods while handling up to 25–30 pounds. This role supports a seamless guest experience and teamwork within the Housekeeping team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25–30 pounds.

• Clean uniform and appearance required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
• Organize linen closet and cart, prep for next shift.
• Remove trash and dirty linens.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile during shifts.
• Ensure rooms are cared for and inspected per standards.
• Protect equipment and report any issues.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.
• Work with little supervision and maintain performance.
• Be customer-oriented and friendly; manage time well.

As Guest Room Attendant, you will:

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
• Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day before your shift ends each day.
• Remove trash and dirty linens
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

To be successful in this role, you need:

• a professional demeanor
• clear communication skills and appearance in a clean uniform is required.
• This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds.
• You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.

Minimum Requirements:
