Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC is hiring a hotel housekeeper in West Palm Beach to maintain clean and comfortable guest rooms and public areas. The role supports a welcoming environment and requires a people-oriented demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.

As part of our operations, you will follow established procedures, assist guests with requests, and help ensure a high standard of cleanliness across shifts. Benefits accompany a full-time schedule where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive housekeeping tasks.
• Ability to read and visually verify information from various formats.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Organize, confirm, and process guest check-in/check-outs and adapt for changes.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests promptly.
• Secure payments and verify billing as needed.
• Provide guests with room information, directions, amenities and local interests.
• Run daily reports and communicate to the next shift’s staff.
• Complete cashier and closing reports and count the bank at shift end.
• Maintain confidentiality of guests and proprietary information.
• Report maintenance problems, accidents, and safety hazards.

As hotel housekeeper, you will:

• Organize, confirm, and process guest check-on/check-outs and adapt for any changes, verify guest identity
• Respond to and resolve guest requests
• Secure payments, verifying and adjusting billing as needed
• Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities, and local interests
• Run daily reports, reviewing to see what needs to be communicated to the next shift’s staff
• Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift securely
• Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering to the right department
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests, proprietary information
• Communicate any emergency, lost item, or theft to proper staff and/or authorities
• Report maintenance problems, accidents, and safety hazards
• Keep contingency lists in case of emergency and communicate and necessary messages
• Protect company assets
• Comply with all quality assurance expectations

Minimum Requirements:

The hotel housekeeper role requires standing for long periods of time, or entire shifts. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (i.e., small print). Grasp, turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance.
