MHG Hotels LLC in Avon, IN is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to maintain clean, well-organized hotel rooms and bathrooms. You will restock supplies, greet guests, and ensure rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The position offers a flexible, full-time or part-time schedule with opportunities for cross-training and advancement within a diverse team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave bathrooms sparkling.
• Restock guest room supplies (soap, shampoo).
• Organize linen closet and restock cart.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile.
• Inspect rooms for standards and safety.
• Notify superiors of damages or disturbances.
• Adhere to health and safety rules.
• Work with minimal supervision and maintain performance.
• Be customer-oriented and friendly.

As Guest Room Attendant, you will

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
• Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day before your shift ends each day.
• Remove trash and dirty linens
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality

To be successful in this role, you need

• a professional demeanor
• clear communication skills and appearance in a clean uniform is required.
• This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds.
• You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
