Job summary

Village Realty is seeking an Inspector to ensure guest accommodations are clean, safe, and ready for arrival across our Outer Banks properties in Nags Head, NC. You will conduct detailed post-clean and readiness inspections, verify presentation standards, document findings, and coordinate corrections with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or quality-control is preferred.
• Ability to use a smartphone or mobile device and inspection apps.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of guest accommodations and related areas using established readiness timelines.
• Verify cleanliness, sanitation, bed and linen presentation, amenities, and other guest-facing features.
• Identify and document deficiencies, safety hazards, and inventory issues requiring correction.
• Complete inspection records accurately in company systems with notes and photographs.
• Coordinate corrections with housekeeping, maintenance, operations, and other teams and re-inspect as needed.
