Job summary

Sporting Kansas City is hiring a Parking Attendant to assist guests and manage parking for Sporting Park events. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, greeting guests, guiding vehicle traffic, and responding to questions about events.

It requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and adverse weather, with training provided. The role supports all activities during MLS, Leagues, Copa America events and more, reflecting the club’s commitment to a safe, welcoming experience for fans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Basic technology skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Greet guests as they enter parking lots for events at Sporting Park.
• Scan parking lot passes upon entry.
• Direct guests’ vehicles into proper parking lots, roadways, and other areas during and after events.
• Answer all questions about Sporting Park or an event.
• Monitor parking lots during events for safety and security of guests, associates, and vehicles.
• Direct guests and vehicles to exit parking lots safely.
• Represent Sporting Kansas City in a professional manner at all times.
• Commit to working 75% of Sporting Park events including MLS, Leagues, and Copa America.
• Attend mandatory trainings.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and rain.
• Be available for non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
