Job summary

Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance seeks a dedicated Guest Operations Coordinator to lead frontline staff, ensure safe and welcoming guest experiences, and support training and operational standards on campus.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to maintain high service levels and collaborate with multiple departments in a dynamic, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year degree preferred, or equivalent required, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Two or more years of experience in guest operations, guest service, or hospitality, or equivalent experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as shift supervisor, adjusting schedules and deploying frontline staff.
• Provide instruction on policies, procedures, and use of systems.
• Monitor cleanliness, safety, and guest experience standards.
• Coordinate guest operation plans and staffing needs with leadership.
• Maintain documentation and handoffs between shifts.
• Support external communications with other Zoo departments and agencies.
