Job summary

Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance seeks a Guest Operations Coordinator to support exceptional guest experiences by coordinating service standards and frontline operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming campus for all visitors.

The ideal candidate will lead shift operations, train staff, monitor guest flow, and collaborate with other departments to maintain top-tier service and safety standards in a high-activity environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or equivalent required.
• Two+ years in guest operations, guest service, or hospitality preferred.
• Experience in high-volume, customer-focused venues or attractions preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and deploy frontline staff to meet guest demand.
• Provide guidance on SOPs and use of tools and systems.
• Offer in-the-moment feedback and document performance observations.
• Foster a collaborative, guest-focused team culture and professionalism.
• Provide staff training on policies, procedures, and systems.
• Coordinate coverage and maintain guest operation standards daily.
