Job summary

Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance seeks an Operations Manager to lead guest-facing operations, staff oversight, and program development for a premier visitor experience. The role drives daily campus readiness, safety, and service standards, partnering across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum two years of management experience in guest operations or related field.
• Experience in a high-volume attraction such as a zoo, amusement park, museum, or science center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for Operations Coordinators, Specialists, and seasonal staff across admissions, parking, concierge, attractions, amenities, accessibility, guest access, and campus operations.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of operational programs ensuring safe, welcoming guest experiences from arrival through full visit.
• Provide daily zoo operations leadership and serve in the Guest Experience Duty Manager rotation.
• Coordinate cross-department efforts to ensure accurate ticketing, reservations, and guest communications.
