Job summary

Primanti Bros. invites you to join our team as a Server, delivering warm, friendly service and a memorable dining experience. You will know the menu, upsell specials, and accurately take and enter orders into the POS system while maintaining a clean station.

Expect teamwork with a fun environment, with opportunities for growth as you assist guests and support the restaurant's traditions and customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to write and read the English language.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Completes and passes the RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides warm and friendly service to each Guest from the initial greet to the end of their Primanti Bros. experience.
• Speaks knowledge of the menu and explains choices, informs guests of current promotions and promotions.
• Upsells and suggests menu items, informs guests of Happy Hours, events.
• Writes orders accurately on paper and enters into POS system in proper sequence.
• Delivers orders and follows up to ensure excellence in service.
• Maintains table appearance and pre-busses as needed.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures and age verification if applicable.
• Collects payments following established procedures.
• Keeps station clean and properly set up.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation policies throughout shift.
• Maintains positive relations with team and guests.
• Completes opening, shift change, and closing checklists and cleaning tasks.
