Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a friendly Guest Services Representative to greet visitors, answer questions, and help guests navigate the hospital environment. You will coordinate transportation, explain visitation policies, and connect guests with interpreters or spiritual care as needed.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and one year of customer service experience, working collaboratively with staff.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for guests, creating a positive and welcoming experience while addressing questions and needs.
• Assists guests with physical needs by ensuring appropriate transportation is available when needed.
• Communicates with guests regarding the hospital visitation policy and provides information to guests regarding number of visitors permitted to the inpatient areas and guest visitation times.
• Communicates with volunteer leadership regarding security concerns and needs. Establishes rapport with guests as well as presents a personal, friendly, and empathetic manner to guests.
• Maintains good interdepartmental working relationships, working in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner with others.
• Recognizes patients and guests who might need language interpreters, sign language interpreters, or assistance from Spiritual care and responds appropriately.
• Assists department coordinator and director with special projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
