Job summary

Potbelly Corporate in Richardson, TX, is hiring a part-time Team Member to join a fast-paced, friendly environment. You’ll greet guests, prepare and serve menu items, and support all kitchen and front-of-house duties with a focus on safety and quality.

We offer competitive pay between $12.75 and $13.25 per hour plus digital tips, medical/dental/vision insurance, paid parental leave, 401(k) with company match, commuter benefits, and flexible work schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset for fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen.
• Able to manage allergens (peanuts, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood).
• Must be a team player.
• Able to stand/walk minimum 3 hours; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple stations as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Ensure health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line and cooling areas.
• Prepare quality sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.
• Use slicer if 18 or older.
• Clean dining and kitchen areas; take out trash.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Address customer complaints and issues effectively.
• Take delivery, catering, and pickup orders by phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
