Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of high school education; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations and give change.
• Ability to follow directions and handle problems in a dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate entire station and communicate needs with hosts/hostesses, bussers, and cooks to provide guests with quality service.
• Greets guests within one minute of seating and take orders with upselling.
• Prepare drink orders, set-ups, and deliver them to the table before the food arrives.
• Carry out food orders from the kitchen and handle check billing and removal.
• Check back to ensure guest satisfaction and attend to water and coffee needs.
• Assist other servers and cooks as needed and keep work area clean and organized.
