Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to serve guests and ensure an enjoyable dining experience on an assigned shift. You will know menu items, wine and beverage offerings, and maintain professional service across busy periods.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work overtime as needed and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a restaurant server in a high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated successful performance in a guest service role.
• Experience servicing large numbers of guests in a public environment.
• Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals.
• Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with Illinois Gaming Board rules and company policies.
• Deliver positive, courteous guest service in all interactions.
• Know menu items, wine and beverage lists, tables, and serving procedures.
• Follow pre-check, guest check, cashiering and ticket procedures.
• Complete set-up, opening and closing duties as directed.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and productive work environment.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and discreetly with supervision as needed.
• Maintain excellent communication with guests, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Perform duties on- or off-site including events and hospitality functions.
• Ensure a clean, safe work area and comply with safety guidelines.
• Report any suspected illegal acts or ethics concerns to management or Ethics Hotline.
