Job summary

Prezzo is seeking a restaurant server to sell and serve food and drinks in a professional and friendly manner. This role requires multi-tasking, excellent communication, and compliance with responsible alcohol service.

Candidates should be able to pass the alcohol test, handle multiple tables, upsell items, and maintain a clean, efficient dining room. Immediate opening with local candidates prioritized.

• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.
• Serve multiple tables as directed by management.
• Have thorough knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage preparation.
• Ability to sell alcohol and food items.
• Use a computer to ring orders on a check.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner.
• Accept different types of payment and make change.
• Maintain side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Check IDs to ensure guests are of legal drinking age.
• If guests are consuming alcohol, monitor behavior and offer taxi if needed; escalate to manager when appropriate.
• Treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations.
• Report to work in a neat, clean uniform; maintain personal grooming.
• Other duties as directed.
