Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–10 hours).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with dress code and personal appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, explain menu items, including daily specials, and answer questions about ingredients, allergens, or preparation methods.
• Take accurate orders, ensuring dietary needs or preferences are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, monitoring guest needs throughout the meal.
• Respond to guest feedback courteously, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to the manager when necessary.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including offerings, preparation methods, and promotions.
• Use the POS system to enter orders, handle payments, and process transactions efficiently.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and runners to ensure seamless service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Assist with food presentation standards to ensure each dish aligns with quality standards.
