Job summary

Denny's in Corning, CA is seeking a Server to greet guests, take and deliver orders, suggest items, respond to concerns, and help ensure total guest satisfaction during the dining experience.

You will operate the point-of-sale system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, assist teammates, keep the dining room clean and stocked, support to-go orders, and uphold Denny’s Guiding Principles every shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to stand for 4–8 hour shifts.
• Minimum age requirement of 21 in restaurants that free pour alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately upon arrival and acknowledge them at departure.
• Take and enter guest orders accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages timely and check presentation.
• Assist with fellow team members and maintain cleanliness and order in dining area.
• Handle payments and cash/credit card transactions.
• Support to-go orders and uphold Denny’s Guiding Principles.
