Applebee’s in Pekin, Illinois is seeking an enthusiastic server to deliver food and drinks, greet guests, answer questions, and suggest menu items. You will relay orders using the POS system and ensure accurate payments while maintaining a welcoming, upbeat dining room atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet guests and answer questions courteously.
• Ability to take and relay orders accurately using a POS system.
• Provide friendly, upbeat service to guests and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee’s team delivery system (65%).
• Greet guests, answer questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service (20%).
• Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere (15%).
• Relays orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system (10%).
• Observes guests and responds to any additional requests (10%).
• Presents guest check to each table and accepts a form of payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure (10%).
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables (10%).
