Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Server to provide friendly, accurate and efficient service to guests at our travel centers. You will handle POS transactions, assist dining guests, and work in a fast-paced team setting to ensure guests leave satisfied and ready for the road.

Ideal candidates have basic POS knowledge, strong verbal communication, and are flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays. Medical benefits and meal discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Previous food service experience a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently.
• Process transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register.
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining guest needs.
• Maintain equipment per operating standards.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.
