Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Server to join our restaurant team. You’ll provide friendly, accurate and efficient service to travelers, welcome guests with a positive attitude, and promote daily specials.

You will handle POS transactions and maintain the dining area to ensure a pleasant guest experience. Candidates should have basic computer/POS knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/POS knowledge required or preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills are essential for guest interactions.
• Previous food service experience is a plus and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, accurate and efficient service to guests.
• Take orders, process transactions on a POS register, and handle payments.
• Promote daily specials and maintain cleanliness and safety in the dining area.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to prioritize guest needs and ensure timely delivery.
