Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in security, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety protocols is a plus.
• Physical ability to patrol on foot, sometimes for extended periods, and to respond quickly to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all incoming guests, members, and vendors at the Welcome Center.
• Provide guests with directions, Cabot Citrus Farms information, and assistance with inquiries.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere in the Welcome Center.
• Verify guests' identities, bookings, and reservations before granting access to amenities.
• Maintain control of access points, allowing only authorized individuals to enter.
• Manage lost and found items according to resort policy.
• Ensure high-value items are reported and securely stored and assist guests in reclaiming property.
• Conduct visual security checks of individuals entering and exiting the Welcome Center.
• Monitor the Welcome Center area for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Coordinate with security team to respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Document incidents and visitor entries in daily logs; prepare incident reports.
• Communicate with Cabot Citrus Farms security officers, front desk, and management.
• Participate in security meetings and training sessions.
• Provide exemplary customer service with a positive demeanor.
• Address guest concerns and resolve minor conflicts.
• Maintain knowledge of facilities, events, and services to provide accurate information.
