Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy to read product labels and communicate with guests.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English.
• Previous in-person customer experience preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and thorough.
• Ability to perform cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting products and escort them to merchandise locations.
• Answer questions and make recommendations based on customer needs.
• Drive sales through engagement and suggestive selling.
• Operate the register and POS system; manage financial transactions.
• Document sales by updating customer profiles as needed.
• Upsell merchandise at appropriate times.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and assist with stock.
• Alert management to potential security issues.
