Job summary

The St. Joe Company operating as ST JOE RESORT OPERATIONS LLC is seeking a Food Runner to support front-of-house service. You will deliver the correct food to guests, seat guests, and assist servers with drink orders and refills while ensuring quick, accurate service.

You will also help with table maintenance, sanitation, and basic opening/closing duties as needed. Prior guest service experience is preferred; CPR training can be obtained after employment. 18+ to serve alcohol where applicable.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy to read product labels and communicate with guests about job needs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English preferred.
• CPR training can be obtained after employment.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Deliver correct food to guests and seat them at tables.
• Assist servers by taking drink orders and refilling drinks.
• Double check orders to match tickets before delivery.
• Prepare sauce cups and cut fruit for bartenders as needed.
• Prepare expo line for service and bus tables as required.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize work areas and take out trash.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety standards.
• Assist with opening/closing duties for FOH/BOH as assigned.
