Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a part-time warehouse/retail associate in Rome, GA. You will help process donated goods, ensure fast, accurate stock placement, and assist guests on the floor with a friendly, “people first” approach.

Responsibilities include inspecting items, stocking shelves, handling POS transactions, upselling when appropriate, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must communicate in English.
• Detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver a welcoming brand experience.
• Maintain professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Transition products to the sales floor with attention to detail and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Assist with upselling and round up at checkout.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Communicate with management and peers effectively.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative effort with colleagues.
• Perform tasks per training materials and procedures.
• Keep the work area neat, clean and organized at all times.
• Follow safety practices and report hazards or injuries.
