Job summary

The Westin San Francisco Airport is seeking a friendly Server to join our hospitality team in Millbrae, CA. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, take and relay orders, and deliver meals with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of serving experience, strong English communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required; on-site work ensures close collaboration with kitchen

Qualifications

• Six months to one year serving experience preferred
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring presentation and quality meet high standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance dining experience.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination and service delivery.
