Job summary

The Clyde Hotel Albuquerque, NM is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to provide polished dining experiences. You will take orders, deliver meals, process payments, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Clear, friendly and professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail while upholding service standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and late nights.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Present checks promptly and process payments accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages per service standards and check quality after each course.
• Coordinate timing of courses with the kitchen for smooth pacing.
• Open, run, close side work and assist teammates as needed.
• Support bar or host staff during peak periods when appropriate.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to learn menu changes and priorities.
• Maintain professional interaction with coworkers and guests.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation and safety standards at all times.
• Answer menu questions confidently and offer recommendations.
• Check identification to verify alcohol service age requirements.
• Keep service areas clean and organized; maintain uniform appearance.
