Job summary

Magnolia in Waco is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Crew member to care for Magnolia properties and perform standard housekeeping tasks across multiple locations in Waco, Texas. The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

You will clean rooms and common areas, stock supplies, change linens, and ensure safe, clean environments for guests. This position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-1 years of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Available to work weekends, nights, holidays as business needs require.
• Local candidates strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean facility areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment
• Promote and maintain a safe and clean working, shopping, or eating environment
• Notify management of any hazardous areas or necessary repairs
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Properly clean upholstered furniture, windows, and required outside areas
• Stock supply rooms and restrooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are available
• Change sheets, arrange towels, dust, and rearrange rooms after guests check out
• Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment
• Wash restroom walls where required
• Clean and store all equipment at the end of the shift
• Fill out daily reports of activities performed
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
