Job summary

SHANTINATH HIE LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a dependable Hotel Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. You will ensure guest linens are clean and ready, maintain organized laundry areas, and support housekeeping with timely delivery of supplies.

No prior experience required, but previous laundry or hospitality work helps. You will operate commercial washers, dryers and pressing equipment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs while keeping safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment and follow care instructions.
• Stand, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry according to property standards
• Sort and inspect items for stains, damage, or wear before and after laundering
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain an organized and clean laundry facility at all times
• Restock housekeeping carts and linen closets with freshly laundered supplies
• Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures for laundry detergents and cleaning agents
• Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens
