Job summary

SSA Group, operating with Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, seeks a Food Service Associate to deliver warm, guest-focused service and support daily restaurant operations. The role emphasizes safety, knowledge of menu items, and proactive guest engagement in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires flexibility, strong teamwork, and a commitment to SSA Group’s hospitality standards. On-site work at multiple locations is expected.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to lift 10–35 lbs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client.
• Supports restaurant prep (FOH and line) for daily operation.
• Meets daily quick service, food safety, availability, merchandising and guest service standards.
• Maintains SSAfe work environment by abiding to all SSAFETY rules.
• Communicates issues to supervisors to ensure complaints are mitigated and service quality is maintained.
• Maintains knowledge of all menu items, prices and specials for sharing with guests.
• Performs other tasks as deemed necessary.
• Uphold sanitation requirements.
