Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and other tech as directed.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Accurate cash handling and signing.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests and assisting them throughout their visit.
• Assist guests in finding products and resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and friendly service.
• Support team members and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow Target's food and beverage standards and safety procedures.
• Handle food deliveries, replenishment, stocking, in-stocks routines, and merchandising.
• Identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process per policy.
• Comply with federal, state, and local beverage laws when applicable.
