Leech Lake Gaming is seeking a customer-focused cashier to handle guest transactions with accuracy and professionalism. The role emphasizes friendly greetings, prompt service, and adherence to cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of events, performing setup/closing tasks, and upholding health and safety standards. The position requires strong computer skills and the ability to pass licensing/background checks, with flexible shifts and a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to interact with the public and provide friendly service.
• Strong computer (POS) skills required.
• Must meet Tribal/State licensing requirements, pass a background check, and submit to drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains positive guest relations.
• Greets all guests entering the establishment, thanks and invites them back upon leaving.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures for all cash handling functions.
• Computes guest check totals with speed and accuracy.
• Accommodates guests and employees by giving prompt service.
• Develops and maintains proper serving techniques.
• Observes health regulations and safety precautions.
• Completes setup, closing duties, and side work assigned.
• Keeps the establishment clean and well maintained.
• Maintains knowledge of all events at the property.
• Attends and/or facilitates mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American culture.
• Operates within tribal policies and internal controls; protects assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
