Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Concessions Attendant to serve guests with genuine hospitality, speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare and serve offerings, manage a cash register, and help with event setup and teardown.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors, handle temperature fluctuations, and maintain strict sanitation standards. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and up to 6 months of food & beverage

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months in food & beverage experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to endure fluctuations in temperatures due to outdoor work.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work events during non-business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, quality hospitality to each guest.
• Greets guests, takes orders, prepares and serves offerings to standard.
• Demonstrates knowledge of menu including dietary guidelines.
• Operates cash register and processes payments with accurate change.
• Prepares food and beverages as needed for guest volume.
• Maintains sanitation guidelines and health department rules.
• Follows recipes and completes assignments accurately and timely.
• Performs shift opening/closing/side work duties as assigned.
• Stocks supplies and cleans as needed; sets up/breaks down events.
