Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in a visible, approachable manner.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers per company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow postage, gift card and coupon procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; ensure food safety and safety procedures.;
• Provide a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions across the store.
