Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and effectively communicate information in English.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide superior service according to established standards.
• Communicate, explain and suggest menu items and promotions to guests.
• Verify cash drawer and complete transaction paperwork.
• Process orders and accept payments.
• Cook and store food at proper temperatures; label and rotate products.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dining surfaces.
• Follow safe food handling and hygiene practices.
• Adhere to safety standards for equipment operation and report malfunctions.
• Perform opening/closing side work and other duties as assigned.
