Job summary

Village Burger Bar is seeking a dedicated crew member to help keep the front of house clean and inviting. You will assist with bussing, cleaning, restocking, and ensuring a safe, welcoming dining area for guests throughout shifts.

You will engage in various duties from table prep to dining room support, while upholding our high standards of hospitality and safety. Flexibility to work in a busy, loud environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Food Handler in Texas.
• Able to work in hot, wet, humid environments and loud settings.
• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift items up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Bus, clean, sanitize, and set tables to seat guests promptly.
• Restock utensils, napkins, and assist dining room needs.
• Maintain FOH floors for cleanliness and safety.
• Perform shift opening/closing duties including sweeping, restroom cleaning, and trash disposal.
• Provide genuine hospitality with a smile.
• Assist in refilling drinks, chips, salsa, and running food when needed.
• Restock glassware, plateware, ice, and service items.
• Contribute to a memorable guest experience with timely service.
• Yield to guests when passing in the restaurant.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety laws and policies.
• Report unsafe conditions to management and be a team player.
• Share the love of FRG Brands and ensure safe food handling.
