Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to ensure a smooth start to every guest's day. You will set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast bar, uphold food safety, and provide attentive service in the lobby and dining areas.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, efficient service, and knowledge of local activities to assist guests. A positive, professional demeanor and flexibility, including weekends and holidays, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and coworkers.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in breakfast and lobby areas and provide attentive service.
• Set up, maintain, replenish, and break down the breakfast bar per standards.
• Prepare specified food items and assist with serving guests.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns and resolve complaints.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Follow hotel policies including food safety and workplace safety.
• Maintain maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Assist with inventory counts and knowledge of local attractions for guests.
• Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
