Job summary

Pinehurst Resort is seeking a Beverage Server to provide prompt, courteous service to guests while preparing and serving beverages in a professional manner in accordance with state and local laws. The role includes cash handling, menu knowledge, and working across Food & Beverage outlets.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related experience; prior mixology knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required and at least 6 months related experience, or equivalent combination of education.
Experience in beverage service or hospitality is preferred.
Knowledge of drink menus and preparation procedures is expected.

Responsibilities

Greet Members/Guests in a courteous professional manner.
Mix beverages according to set guidelines to insure uniformity of service.
Ensure that bar area is properly stocked and maintained.
Close and act as cashier for the dining room and bar operation.
Responsible for understanding menus (preparation and display).
Has vast knowledge of mixology.
Communicate all problems or concerns to Outlet Manager or Captain.
Assist food server in the performance of their jobs.
Clears and waits on tables when needed.
Monitor the security of all beverage items.
Clean and neat area at all times.
In this position you will be expected to be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets and work holidays wherever needed.
