Job summary

You will work under the Bartender Lead and ensure a clean, stocked work area while delivering attentive service. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving, handling payments, balancing cash, maintaining safety and ID checks, following regulations and TIPs guidelines, and assisting with station upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience serving food or drinks preferred.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn to use the Point of Sale system is required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Must be able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• TIP's Certification required within the first 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink and food orders from customers.
• Serves drinks and food to guests.
• Collects money for drinks and food served to guests.
• Balances cash receipts.
• Maintains work area by performing light janitorial tasks and keeping tables, chairs, and bar areas clean.
• Assists with stocking server stations and restocking supplies.
• Checks identification and confirms the age of customers.
• Follows regulations, policies, and procedures for serving alcohol and minors, and for handling intoxicated customers.
• Follows TIP's guidelines for serving guests.
